2023 Stillwater World Snow Sculpting Championship WSSC
The second annual stillwater snow sculpture event known as the World Snow Sculpting Championship (WSSC) takes place January 18th through 22nd 2023. The world snow sculpting (wssc) event is downtown Stillwater Minnesota in Lowell Park north of the St Croix river historic lift bridge.

Fire & Ice Event (Downtown Stillwater Minnesota)
Greater Stillwater Area Chamber of Commerce event and Washington County Historical Society Ice Cream Social. We captured aerial and ground video footage and still images of winter event including night hot air balloon moon glow as well as daylight action. Leveraging our FAA part 107.29 daylight waiver we were able to capture aerial imagery of hot air balloons being lit up at night.

Stillwater Zephyr Ice Maze Ice Palace
Captured daily aerial imagery from before the first ice blocks arrived through opening day, night and subsequent days, providing time lapse views over multiple weeks. Imagery appeared in various venues including metro area and regional TV, online and other mediums.
Light Up Downtown Stillwater Lights Bridge Lighting
Capture sunset and night aerial video imagery of the event unveiling new downtown lights including historic bridge lift bridge. Leveraging our FAA part 107.29 daylight waiver we were able to legally capture still and video imagery of the new lighting on the lift bridge, as well as tree lighting and much more. In addition to our own produced content, we also supplied footage to various venues for use in their own productions.
Broadway on the Rooftop Musical Event (Stillwater Minnesota)
Zephyr Theatre musical production at Papa’s Rooftop Water Street Inn downtown Stillwater Minnesota. Leveraging our FAA part 107.29 daylight waiver captured ground 360 and aerial imagery (still photo and video) of the magical evening event.
St Croix Ballet Summer Gala (Pioneer Park Stillwater)
Live HDMI feed to onsite production team providing aerial coverage of event from Pioneer Park overlooking Stillwater and St Croix River Valley. For this event we were part of the TV production crew attached via wireless comms to the producer/director, and our aircraft controller connected via HDMI/STI cable to their video production board. In addition to the live HDMI video feed, we also captured the event in 4K video.
Opera on the River Virtual Event
We provided Pre recorded aerial B Roll of venue, surrounding area, attractions and landmarks used throughout production by the broadcast team, as well as capture rehearsals and live event from the ground and air including 360 video. Our creative services included capturing footage for different scenarios (day, evening, sunny, cloudy) as the outdoor event might have to be rescheduled due to weather (which it was). We also captured images and video footage of the event from the air and ground during the live show safely, and without causing noise or disrupting the production.
CoC Downtown Art Festival
Captured aerial and ground images (still photos and video) of the fall event downtown Stillwater. As a member of the Greater Stillwater Area Chamber of Commerce in addition to capturing aerial images, we also were volunteer help bartending at the event.
Opera on the River (Stillwater Minnesota)
Produced by Opera on The River (St Croix Valley Opera), we capture inaugural event downtown Stillwater along St Croix River front including night aerial images leveraging our FAA part 107.29 daylight waiver.

Washington County Fair
Coordinating with the Washington County Fair board including permission to fly from their property, we were able to capture day, evening and night video footage and still images of the event. Being located adjacent to the Lake Elmo Airport (K21D) our coordination also involved communications with airport officials, while remaining vigilant of aircraft traffic patterns.

Stillwater Lights
We were there from the start as the first sections of framework arrived on the first day of construction and through out the initial season of Stillwater Lights. For Season two, not only were we there on the first day to capture the initial setup, we also were a hands on, feet on the ground volunteer helping to setup the framework.
